Wow! 2018 is starting off with lots of excitement at ODBS. We are under construction on our eagle mews and are targeting a late spring completion and will be working with our network to locate a very special Bald Eagle to bring to the sanctuary. We added volunteers and an updated vehicle. In addition, with a successful regular summer schedule at ODBS where we saw increased attendance, new programming partners and expansion projects and we feel the time is right and we are very excited to introduce our new Annual Membership Program.

How it Works

We want to have each and every one of you feel that you are a part of what makes ODBS tick. Many people express a desire to be updated about what’s going on at ODBS and by becoming an annual member you have the opportunity to do that and make a difference every year. Our two main goals over the next 2-3 years at the Sanctuary are to acquire our land and fund salaries for key positions as part of our annual budget. In order to reach both goals, we need to expand both our programming and our financial support base.

You Matter to US

Our new Annual Membership Form offering various levels of joining ODBS as well the opportunity to give a little extra. One of our most important axioms is “every dollar matters” and we mean it. One dollar buys food for Koko. One dollar puts gas in our mower or pressure washer, it buys water for open days, it buys screws for our construction projects…it really does matter. Being a member of ODBS is a small but critical way that you can support us and contribute to our mission of raising avian awareness and sharing the majesty of the raptor world with as many people as possible. As investors in the future of ODBS, you will help us add resident birds, develop new parts of our property, pay staff and make ODBS a permanent destination in Door County for generations to come.

Please consider joining the ODBS Family today and choose to make a difference!
